Upcoming Alumni Events
The College of Arts and Sciences hosts events for alumni in a variety of cities across the country. Whether it's a luncheon with the Dean of the College in Buffalo, a hockey game with fellow alumni, a tour through the Smithsonian in Washington D.C., or a casual cocktail reception in cities like Chicago, Los Angeles, or New York City, these events are a great opportunity to reconnect with your alma mater, meet and network with other UB alumni in your area, and learn more about what's happening at UB. Events vary, and are planned according to the amount of alumni living in specific areas.

Chemistry Alumni Dinner
Are you attending the American Chemical Society’s National Meeting & Exposition in Philadelphia in August? If so, enjoy a great opportunity to meet up with your fellow alumni from UB Chemistry at McGillin’s Olde Ale House, a historic Irish pub in Philadelphia.
You’ll mingle with alumni from all generations, UB faculty, and with Frank Bright, Chair of the Department of Chemistry. Come join us and make some great UB connections.

Networking and Art reception at Buffalo's Anderson Gallery
In April of this year, over 100 alumni and friends of UB's College of Arts and Sciences came to view an exhibition and to network with one another at the stunning UB Anderson Gallery. Alumni, faculty and students, were joined by Dean Bruce McCombe (SUNY Distinguished Professor of Physics), and Dean's Advisory Council members Dr. Vijay Kumar '73 and Dr. Wolf Wölck, while viewing two exciting new exhibits at the Gallery.

Thursday, April 17th
Networking in D.C.
The arts and sciences alumni networking event on April 17th drew over 50 alumni from the 00’s, 90’s, 80’s to Dupont Circle’s chic Hudson Restaurant and Lounge to mingle and network with Dean of the College, Bruce McCombe and members of the College’s Dean’s Advisory Council (DAC), comprised of prominent corporate leaders and professionals.
