For my retreads I want to take inspiration from Critical Art Ensemble's 2001 Child as Audience tactical project. I will make a pamphlet for teenage girls to be dispersed in rural GA. I will not be in GA until mid December but I'm looking forward to going to the strip in Calhoun where the kids cruise(between the Piggly-wiggly and movie theater) and handing out the pamphlet. Usually there are preachers on this corner handing out those comic book inspired religious propaganda books. I also think it would be fun to parody those things, apparently they hand them out here at UB because Keith showed me some truly great ones.
With the pamphlet I plan to address issues of religion, morality, race, sexuality, and authority. I would like to place this information in the bathroom of my old high school but I'm afraid of being arrested so in the critique we can discus issues like that. I like the idea of using myself as a promotional device for my pamphlet so social places where teens typically hang out unsupervised will be my primary target.
