2001, 2000, 1999, Class of 2007 Sarah Meunier graduated in June, 2007 with a BA in Health and Human Services - Community Health and Sociology. She received the 2007 SUNY Chancelor's Award for Excellence. This summer she spent time working in a public health office in Tanzania. Sarah is currently working on her M.S. in Community Health at SUNY Cortland and teaching full-time at a child care center. After graduation he joined AmeriCorps and served as a team leader for the Maine Conservation Corps in the construction and rehabilitation of hiking trail throughout the state of Maine. After two and one half years he moved to the other end of the US and worked on a trail crew at Haleakala National Park on the Island of Maui in Hawaii. Most recently, Eric worked as a field research technician for Syracuse University in Yellowstone National Park. Michael Kiener graduated from UB in February 1997 with a degree in Health and Human Services with a concentration in Early Childhood. He continued his education at UB and received a M.S. in Rehabilitation Counseling in June 2001 and a Ph.D. in June 2004 in Counselor Education. Michael is currently a college professor at Maryville University in St. Louis. Lauren Makeyenko is a 1997 BS graduate of UB with the Environmental Studies major. She is an environmental educator. She is currently employed by the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation at Reinstein Woods Nature Preserve. She was formerly employed by the Erie county Department of Environment and Planning and at Tifft Nature Preserve.
