The College of Arts and Sciences is pleased to announce the new Dean’s Scholars program that provides scholarship funds in support of experiential learning opportunities. Select incoming freshmen will be notified of this award as part of their scholarship package.
As a Dean’s Scholar, you are eligible for a $500 award to be applied towards an approved experiential learning opportunity of your choice as a major in the College of Arts and Sciences. Happening during your sophomore, junior or first semester senior year, you will then receive an additional $500 in scholarship funds applied to your financial aid package. *
Not sure what you want to do? That’s OK, you don’t have to make any decisions right now. Once you enroll at UB, you will receive more information and timely reminders during your freshmen year about how to maximize this opportunity!
Whether you choose to participate in an internship, community engagement project, study abroad, independent research or a host of other opportunities, your experience outside the classroom will sharpen your collaboration and critical thinking skills, enhance your sense of civic engagement, build your self-confidence and better prepare you for the job market following graduation.

*You must retain your original merit scholarship to qualify for these supplemental funds and complete the experiential learning activity prior to the start of your last semester at UB.
