Shep Gordon, BA ’68 Visits UB

On Thursday, October 23, Shep Gordon, BA ’68, a well-known talent manager, Hollywood film agent and producer will be on campus for a special showing of the film Supermensch The Legend of Shep Gordon. All students are invited to attend this FREE special event.

ABOUT SHEP
After graduating from UB, Shep headed to LA and became friends with Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison and Jimi Hendrix. Shep managed rock stars such as Pink Floyd, Luther Vandross, Teddy Pendergrass and Alice Cooper, and later went on to manage chefs such as Emeril Lagasse. The film tells the story of the much-loved Hollywood insider and was directed by Mike Myers, of Saturday Night Live and Austin Powers fame.
