Bennett High School Access Scholarship Program

As a major University, UB touches thousands of lives within the Buffalo community every day, helping to guide the Western New York region toward a brighter future. As a symbol of its commitment to the city of Buffalo, the UB College of Arts and Sciences has established the Bennett High School Access Scholarship Program.

This scholarship is aimed at enhancing educational opportunities for graduates from Bennett to attend UB. With the assistance of this scholarship, exceptional incoming students will receive need-based scholarships, covering expenses such as: the cost of in-state tuition, fees, room and board and books and supplies, up to $500 per semester, for four to five years of undergraduate study.

Essay:
Please attach a one page typed statement explaining your decision to attend UB, your plan of study at UB, your personal attributes that will lead to your success at UB, your financial need, why you should be considered for this scholarship funding, and your future goals. Also, include a letter of recommendation from a teacher or advisor.
